Reflections on Be More Digi-TALINO — Turning Screen Time into Skill Time!

Integrated OS – "Be More Digi-Talino

Turning Screen Time into Skill Time!"

A Webinar  Reflection Blog

Have you ever wondered if you’re truly working smart—not just hard?

I participated in an online webinar on September 5, 2025, with the subject "Integrated OS – Be More Digi-TALINO." The need of working smart with technology, comprehending AI, and cultivating a Digi-TALINO attitude were the main topics of the seminar. The purpose of the event was to teach professionals and students how to prevent disinformation by critically evaluating online material, applying safe and ethical practices, communicating and working together in digital environments, and using vital technologies to increase productivity.

This event reminded me that being digitally smart is no longer optional—it’s essential.

Key Takeaways: What I Learned From Webinar

This webinar taught me a lot, particularly on how to use digital tools responsibly and productively. By making the most of platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for task management and collaboration, the presenters clarified the distinction between working hard and working smart. Canva, Prezi, and Gamma are the finest tools for cooperation, real-time collaboration, and creative outputs including posters, presentations, films, and branding materials. They also emphasized the use of Office Suite for solo or offline work. The webinar's explanation of digital communication and netiquette was another important aspect. I discovered that professional emails and chats must have clear subject lines, refrain from using all caps, use concise messaging, and know when to use emoticons. Since not everything we read online is accurate, the seminar also advised us to double-check information and use trustworthy fact-checking websites. The use of AI as a digital assistant to boost productivity, generate ideas, and save time was one of the most fascinating insights. But the speaker also underlined how crucial it is to validate AI results because it is merely a tool and human judgment is still required. Lastly, we learned how to identify the problem, implement simple solutions, and escalate as required in order to handle frequent digital crises including erased files, frozen screens, compromised accounts, and poor internet.

Turning insight into action: How I Can Apply The Lessons

I can use the knowledge I gained from this webinar in both my study life and future career. I can improve my task organization by using productivity tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and I can create more captivating presentations and designs by using Canva and Prezi. By following the guidelines of netiquette, I will also be more careful about how I communicate online. The AI usage teachings motivate me to use AI to increase efficiency while maintaining the accuracy and morality of my outputs. Whenever I run into technical issues, the cybersecurity and troubleshooting advice would also be quite helpful.

Event Highlights:What made a webinar Stand Out

This webinar was incredibly useful and educational. I gained a clear knowledge of how to embrace a Digi-TALINO mindset, which means being clever with digital tools, cooperative, ethical, and productive. The lecturer gave straightforward explanations of each subject, complete with immediately applicable examples and applications. Because it blended technical instruction with common digital practices, the event also felt interesting.

Suggestion for future Improvements

The webinar was worthy and good overall. My only recommendation is that the organizers offer follow-up resources, such notes, slides, or sessions that were filmed, so that attendees can review the teachings at a later time. Apart from that, the topics were pertinent and really beneficial, and the event flowed smoothly.

Being Digi-TALINO means being digitally responsible, productive, and collaborative. What’s one habit or tool you plan to apply in your digital life? Share it in the comments!
