    The “PALETTE SPARK: Unveiling the Hues of Passion and Creativity of GCCCS BSEMC Students” was an inspiring and vibrant event held at the Gordon College Function Hall on November 3, 2025. Organized with the help of Primorix, the event showcased the creativity, skill, and dedication of BSEMC-DAT 4 students through their capstone films and the opening of five animation studio booths: Animatoons Productions, Animaya Studio, SalinGuhit Tales, High Five Animations, and Tanaw Animation Studio. The entire day,from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, was filled with energy, artistic displays, and a sense of community among students, faculty, and attendees.

    One of the main lessons I learned is that events like this are important because they celebrate the hard work and dedication behind animation projects. Making an animation is a long and tiring process, often requiring months of planning, designing, and perfecting every detail. Seeing the finished work displayed during the event was a proud and rewarding experience, showing that all the effort and late nights truly pay off. It also reminded me how much perseverance, patience, and teamwork go into creating even a few minutes of animation.


Turning Insight into Action: How I can Apply The LessonS

    As a student and aspiring professional in animation, I can use this experience as motivation to stay committed and patient in my own projects. It also taught me to appreciate the process, not just the final product, and to take pride in the results of hard work. Participating in events like this can also inspire me to share my creations with others and celebrate the achievements of fellow animators.

     Several aspects made “PALETTE SPARK: Unveiling” particularly memorable. The capstone film screenings captivated audiences with compelling storytelling and polished animation. The animation studio booths provided an interactive experience, allowing attendees to see behind-the-scenes processes and meet the creators personally. The enthusiasm of the students and the lively engagement of the audience created an atmosphere that celebrated creativity, passion, and innovation.

Suggestion for Future Improvements

    This event reinforced the significance of recognizing and celebrating student achievements in meaningful ways. By combining artistic showcases, interactive booths, and a day-long celebration of creativity, “PALETTE SPARK” left a lasting impression of inspiration and motivation. I hope to contribute to or organize similar events in the future that continue to promote collaboration, creativity, and pride in the hard work that goes into making art and animation.
