A reflection on Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025
Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025
The Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025 was organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators – Central Luzon (Region III) and held at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology on October 17, 2025. The event gathered students, teachers, and professionals to talk about Information Technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital responsibility.
Key Takeaways: What I learned from the Webinar
The event taught that AI should be used as a helper, not a replacement for human thinking. One speaker reminded us to ask: Are we using AI to think better, or letting AI think for us?
We also learned that it is not enough to just use AI—we should also learn how it works and how to build it. Another topic explained different AI roles: users, leaders, builders, and trainers.
We also learned about digital footprint, which is all the traces we leave online. This reminded us to be careful with what we post because it can affect our future.
Turning Insight into Action: How I can Apply The LessonS
As a student, I learned to use AI as a tool for learning, not for doing everything for me. It should help improve my thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
I also realized I need to be more careful online because everything I do on the internet becomes part of my digital identity.
Event Highlights: What A webinar Stand Out
The event was informative and well-organized. The speakers explained the topics clearly and shared useful knowledge about AI and digital safety. The activities and recognition also made the event more engaging and enjoyable.
